New Music | Not the Girl - Casey Ed (Winner Glo Naija Sings 2010)

For Casey Ed aka Casey Jolomi Edema, the journey to music has not been as easy one even though he started singing at a very tender age and was appreciated for it, music has not always been what his parents wanted for him. So while he horned his skills underground with his major inspiration being Michael Jackson, his primary objective was his education.

From singing in the church to becoming a local sensation back in his state of origin in Delta state (Asaba precisely). Casey knew he couldn't rest on his laurels by further getting influenced by the likes of Billy Ocean, Fela Kuti, Brian McKnight and R. Kelly.

Ready to take on the world, Casey Ed moved to Lagos where he started recording his sounds and music and started going for auditions, one of which eventually resulted in him becoming a contestant in the Glo Naija Sings 2010 Competiton where he eventually emerged the winner.

For Casey Ed, the journey has just started and he intends to use his music to conquer the world bit by bit,a music at a time.
