Was Rita Dominic The Worst Headies (HHWA) Host Ever?

Though, so much was expected from her as an actress as she was brought in out of the hope that she might attract more audience, but it seems she was out of her element as her Headies appearance was quite disappointing. She looked uncomfortable and out-of-touch. Like Rita seemed to have other things on her mind or what? leaving Eldee with the task of "overcompensating" for her dull, and vacant co-host.

In the past, Headies (formerly HHWA) has produced great pairing/hosts like Darey Art Alade in 2006, Dbanj and Tana in 2007, Dakore Egbuson and Basket mouth in 2008, Banky W and Kemi Adetiba in 2009.

Critcis were quite unimpressed with her performance as it was dubbed as 'the worst ever' by many. One of the reviewers was TheNetng entertainment critic Chris Ihidero, who wrote,


"Rita Dominic sucked. She looked uncomfortable in the dresses, she was largely inaudible, and her carriage lacked confidence; which is surprising, seeing that Rita is an actress. I do not think that she made more than four appearances all through the show. At some point, it looked as if eLDee was running the show alone. This may be a blessing in disguise though, seeing that the few times she came on stage was so quickly forgettable that one wished she had remained backstage."


Do you think the use of actress will still work for the ceremony? Or maybe a witty actor will be a good fit.
