Newly-Engaged Sarah Ofili Shows Off Her Sexy Diamond Ring!

You could remember she got engaged on her birthday after accepting her Rapper boyfriend Ikechukwu's wedding proposal with this ring. Now the newly engaged model known for her stunning blonde looks proudly flashed her impressive engagement bling.

The loved-up couple have been receiving congratulatory messages from fans and friends on twitter. However, it is not yet known when they intend to marry.

One PDP contender that has drawn little
media notice is the silverbird group chairman, Ben Bruce.

The PDP Screening panel has decided who is eligible to contest. And unfortunately, Silverbird boss Bayelsa state born American trained Entrepreneur was screened out for possessing dual nationality (Nigerian and American). Ben was dropped alongside the Bayelsa Governor, Timipe Sylva. Meanwhile, three candidates were approved as PDP gubernatorial aspirants by the panel.

Though, so much was expected from her as an actress as she was brought in out of the hope that she might attract more audience, but it seems she was out of her element as her Headies appearance was quite disappointing. She looked uncomfortable and out-of-touch. Like Rita seemed to have other things on her mind or what? leaving Eldee with the task of "overcompensating" for her dull, and vacant co-host.

In the past, Headies (formerly HHWA) has produced great pairing/hosts like Darey Art Alade in 2006, Dbanj and Tana in 2007, Dakore Egbuson and Basket mouth in 2008, Banky W and Kemi Adetiba in 2009.

Critcis were quite unimpressed with her performance as it was dubbed as 'the worst ever' by many. One of the reviewers was TheNetng entertainment critic Chris Ihidero, who wrote,

"Rita Dominic sucked. She looked uncomfortable in the dresses, she was largely inaudible, and her carriage lacked confidence; which is surprising, seeing that Rita is an actress. I do not think that she made more than four appearances all through the show. At some point, it looked as if eLDee was running the show alone. This may be a blessing in disguise though, seeing that the few times she came on stage was so quickly forgettable that one wished she had remained backstage."

2face Names MI & Asa As His Favourite Nigerian Artists

2face, who has enjoyed great presence in the Nigerian music scene for long and whose style has influenced many within the nigerian hiphop circle shares his thoughts on who his favorite artists are. Surprisingly, he didn't list himself.

"When it comes to Nigerian music of today,I am just going to call two names, because I don't want to involve myself in controversy. If I start reeling names, I would offend a lot of people who would expect me to name them as among my favourites. But I am just going to call two names. Asha and MI.

MI is amazing. He is deep,intellectually talented. He is got it all. I first met MI at one show and I said Wow! Who is this guy? And that was it. He is going to
go really far. It is not for me to discuss the originality of his rap. These days, when you start talking about originality, you can't really lay claim to any original thing. Everything has already been done. But what I can say is that he is talented. He knows his onions. He's intelligent.

Same with Asa. She is not forcing it. She does it effortlessly. And then she has depth. She doesn't just want to sell S*x. Most of the females artistes these days, they just want to sell s*x. The first time I
heard her sing,I was amazed. I shouted: Who is this? The song I first heard was Eiye adaba. I was blown away. Then I heard Jailer. I am talking to you Jailer… I said." Wow,who is this? And that was before the album even came out. The second album is also brilliant. My baby is
gone,gone,gone. I think the Nigerian music scene is exploding. People are coming up strong.

Meanwhile, we are still expecting the outcome of his collaboration RnB Queen, Mary J Blige and Akon.

Dbanj added another pricey whip to his already expensive car collection.

Already has a garage packed with Multi-million naira rides like the N35million Bentley he acquired alongside his music brother, Don Jazzy few months ago. And now he's reportedly ordered himself an Aston Martin Vantage. Dbanj laid out $200,000 (about N30million) for the two-seat super-sportscar.

Rapper MC Loph's burial tookplace yesterday

Friends and fans turned out for one last show from the rapper as they pay their last respect to the Osondi Owendi crooner and his sister who were laid to rest at Late Mr. Kenneth Nwaozor's compound Ugwuaro, Umunze, Anambra State.

The burial came after MC Loph and his sister, Chinwe passed away last month after getting involved in a fatal car accident along benin-ore road. And according to reports, his management company has promised to start paying his mother a monthly salary of N30,000.

Don Jazzy Says "No Beef", Tells Kelly Hansome "Calm Down"

I reported earlier about mohits planning to sue Mr. Kelly hansome for remixing one of dbanj's leaked song. Well, its like Mohits pardoned Kelly hansome but they 've banned Kelly hansome from using any material owned by mohits. They got Kelly to sign a document (which entails a statement that restrict Mr. Maga don pay from using any mohits material) at a police station.

And yesterday, the internet went nuts and began saying that Mohits arrested Kelly hansome. Both don Jazzy and kelly hansome denied the arrest story. In a mail sent to TheNetng.com by Don Jazzy, he said
"Kelly Hansome was not Arrested cos if we really intend to do that he'll not be out."

He further said

"I do not believe in beef like my fans know. But come on, there is only so much insult one can take, and riding on a Don Jazzy beat without my permission after openly calling us all sort of names is definitely a cheeky move from him.

This incident has been resolved and doesn't stop me from dancing to some of his diss songs that I like and the ones he might come up with after this. Neither
does it stop me from being his fan. I think he is a talented brother with so much potentials if he could calm down a little #myopinion.

There was no form of violence recorded in resolving this issue. The music industry moving forward is all we preach
but not by beef or taking other people's property."

MI took to twitter to express his feelings on his 2011 headies album of the year nomination. He had preferred winning album of the year award over best collabo. While MI is more respectful of the winner, 2face, he thinks MI2 deserves the award.
He shared his thoughts upon losing in that category

"But I really wanted to win album of the year.. And I'm not saying tuface isn't worthy.. He definately is and every nominee is as well..but MI2 I think was a legendary project..(Even though I say so myself) because I don't think anyone expected rap music to spread far as it has Six songs that more or less were 'hit songs' action film, beef, nobody,number one,undisputed,my belle And then craze, wild wild west, epic and represent where also well accepted The collabs were on point.. Still On "The Beef"? Mohits To Sue Kellyhansome Over Copyright Infringement

I reported earlier that Kelly hansome said its over, as in no more beef, but mohits says it has just begun.

According to a statement released by Mohits record A&R, Abisagboola Oluseun popularly known as bankulli, where Kelly hansome has been accused of copyright infringement, Bankulli claimed Kelly hansome never got a licence to use dbanj's song with 2face "feeling good" an unfinished song that was leaked to the internet.

"DO TAKE NOTICE that Mo'Hits Records Limited is the lawful owner of rights to the recorded material being touted by one Kelechi Obinna Orji a.k.a. Kelly Hansome or persons acting for him. Mo'Hits Records Limited has not granted the said rights to Mr. Hansome nor to anyone else. Mr. Hansome's possession and offering of the material at issue is unauthorized, unjustified, inexcusable and downright illegal; the subject of current civil and criminal proceedings."

Mohits are not willing to take the back seat as they are now considering a lawsuit suit against Mr. Kelly hansome.

Mohits also urges the media to ignore publishing or playing the "kellyhansome remix" if sent to them.

Two weeks ago, Kelly hansome confirmed working on the song when he claimed his own version of the song leaked to the internet

"I can't understand how a remix of 'Feeling good by Tuface and Dbanj' which I made for fun in the studio leaked and is everywhere already..."

"Genevieve And I Both Understand Things Couldn't Work Out" -- Dbanj

Mr. Oliver twist has been romantically linked to quite a number of nollywood divas in the past, from Rukky Sanda, mercy Johnson to Genevieve. In a recent interview on Vanguard, he opened up about his relationship with Genevieve, and he wants us to believe he never dated Genevieve even though they've been spotted hanging out together several times - like they just get along famously. And dbanj talked about the search for true love, Maybe the saying "you don't look for true love – true love will find you" is not working for the kokomaster. Lol.

I really can't remember, it cost between N4m to N5m. I 'm not too sure. But I think it's a beautiful idea if not for the way everyone is trying to go about it. I think Genevieve is a stunner I could dateor love her. But we didn't date. She's my friend and a star you know. We're close and we both understand that things couldn't work out. That song was recorded two years before the video was released and it remains my biggest song ever. I wanted to make a statement with it. We had options of whom to use in the video, but at the end of the day, we saw that it's an African song and by that time I had already played it in about fifty weddings.

Am I good in bed? How I'm suppose to know? I think you should ask the women, but please don't ask a virgin. That song is misleading them. When you say how
big is the koko?, then they want to see if it's that big. But when some come, they see what they either want to see or don't expect to see.

So are you saying that the song has put you into a lot of trouble?

Yes, a lot of time. But to find a lady that really likes one genuinely makes me paranoid. Of late, I dated a lady called Dana and she doesn't even know that
I'm a musician. I told her I'm a businessman. She's based in America and I like it. Is it wrong? Even if I date a foreigner, I still have to come back home.

Are you saying you haven't met any Nigerian lady?

It's really hard to find because how will I know she likes me genuinely? My mother said I should go to Bishop Oyedepo's Church, Living Faith to find a wife.

The music industry's highest honors, The headies 2011 which gathered the industry professionals just ended few hours ago. It was a big night for 2face who took home three headies; album of the year, artiste of the year, and best R&B/pop album. Iceprince and Dr. Sid were also big winners at the show.

And the headies managed to produce a good bit of drama this year. Up and comer Starlet Dencia is new to the music industry, she has already made a name for herself as a video vixen after appearing in some international music videos; Jeremih and 50cent's down on me and some other videos. She's been spotted on red carpet several times of late rocking what seems like a 'spandex uniform'. And she's been nicknamed 'Naija Nicki Minaj' by bloggers.

And the gist is, Dencia got attacked by one time friend, called Liz Gavey outside the hall during the show. Not really sure of the truth, and we don't think anyone is, but the rumour is, dencia accused Liz of stealing her luxury clothes, shoes, and some accessories. And I hear the fight got so bad that someone's hair got pulled out.

Dr. Sid's performance was halted on stage after some major technical difficulties. Dr. Sid who had already won three awards got so pissed off, shouted 'wat d f*ck' as he stormed off the stage.

And later, he apologised for his odd behaviour,

"I apologize 4 losing my temper @ d headies, I put a lotta work in2 my performance & felt rlly embarased that they lost my performance track"
