The Singer/songwriter and voice coach signed to Questionmark Entertainment would release the single titled 'Taiye, Kehinde' on Friday, 24th February 2012.
Speaking on the soon-to-be-released record, Harrison 'Harrysong' Okiri said 'It is surprising how we came about the song, it is still like a magic to me the way we made the song - Taiye Kehinde'. He informed that the recording for the song had started with his long time partner / producer Del B and Questionmark CEO Kevin Lucciano - Gabriel. 'We've had like seven songs when Shizzi came to see Del B during a session and he suggested to do a song with me - that he is a fan and he likes my sound so we settled on a date with nothing on my mind,' He added.
'When I got there, we got talking with the several women around the studio during the session - almost distracting me [smiles] then Shizzi started playing with some tones and two of the girls were just playing with the words: Taiye and Kehinde and I picked it up, put it on the melody and the bounce of the beat that Shizzi was playing on and before we knew it, we already have the song,' He said further.
The 'unto matta' singer took up the word for what the Yorubas call twins and titled the single which would be made available for listen on Friday, 24th February 2012.

I looked at the clock on the wall. It was already 5pm and I still had one more homework to finish with my 9-year-old daughter. My phone rang a few times and as I saw the name of the caller, I didn't pick it up.My daughter noticed my constant glances at the clock and said to me "mummy you can go you know. It's Friday and I don't have to submit this in school till Monday".I really didn't want to leave the house but she went into my room and brought the invitation card to me. "Mummy you have to go because this person has been calling for this event for the past onemonth." I took the invitation card from her and looked at it again; it was for a movie premiere and a lot of hype had been done about this movie. It was the rave of the moment and everyone whomattered in showbiz was going to be at this movie premiere. Well, everyone but me.

When fast rising actor Joseph Benjamin starred in that N32 million naira block buster, ‘’Tango With Me’’, many industry people and the general public thought his best has come, little did they envisage that they were far from the truth as he shows more versatility, style and panache in this new romantic drama, Mr & Mrs., where he starred alongside the delectable Nse Ikpe Etim.
Produced by Chinwe Egwuagu and directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka, Mr & Mrs tells the story of couples whose marriages are constantly threatened by economic and social divisions in the society they find themselves. Joseph Benjamin and Nse Ikpe connected well in this movie as they brought their emotions into their roles. Joseph Benjamin plays Kenneth who is ashamed of his wife’s (Nse Ikpe Etim) background and then decides to confine her to the kitchen, a place he strongly believes she belongs. In the same vein, the movie also talks about another couple Linda and Charles played by the duo of Thelma Ojiji and Paul Apel who seemingly have a perfect marriage until Linda begins to take her husband for granted because she takes care of all the bills in the home.
The teaser of the movie has already been released and it looks tidy and promises to be interesting with a lot to look forward to in terms of the cinematic affluence, picture quality, storyline and the characters in the movie. In a move which continues to ensure the quality production of Nollywood movies, the movie is shot on the Canon 5D by director of photography Tom Robson and it is expected that the movie will be released around March this year in Cinemas and also on DVD. Will Joseph reignite the blockbuster magic like he did in ‘Tango with me’ when Mr. and Mrs finally hits cinema in March? Time will tell.
If the buzz around the movie, TOBI (a Nigerian flick shot in New York) is anything to go by, then the Nigerian movie industry might be on the verge of witnessing one of its most exciting cinematic episodes since the days of Ije and Unwanted Guest.
It therefore hardly came as a surprise when Nigeria’s flamboyant singer, Muma Gee recently expressed her unreserved anticipation and excitement towards watching the movie.
Previously, Mr. Nigeria 2007, Bryan Okwara had equally described the production of the TOBI, a Nigerian movie shot on the streets of New York as a remarkable feat for the producer, Emmanuel Ijeh and the nation as a whole.
Following the cinema success of her movie Damage, A-list Nollywood actress Uche Jombo has raised the stakes in the industry by taking her highly rated movie to the internet for the viewing pleasure of the internet community.
The concept behind is that of ‘’buy and watch’ and it is open to the people here in Nigeria those who live outside our shores. Payment for this service is by credit cards or by PayPal and the link for this online streaming is www.damagemovie.com or www.uchejombotv.com
The movie Damage centers on a vivid crusade against physical and domestic violence either in relationships or in marriage. It boasts of an impressive cast of Uche Jombo herself, Tonto Dike, Kalu IKeagwu, Basorge Tariah Jr and others. It tells the story of two characters Taiwo and Sarah (Kalu Ikeagwu and Uche Jombo) who happen to live in a world of affluence but are always at odds with each other. In a home of constant physical abuse, the children begin to feel the impact of this terrible drama and the couple paid dearly for their actions.
Speaking on this new online initiative, Uche Jombo says ‘’I am very happy with this new concept and I am very excited about it. It was also borne out of the fact that there is need for us to be internet savvy in this part of the world and it is also a way of showcasing our works to the international community

There was talk of kokolets all Sunday night at Irving Plaza. D'Banj, the Nigerian pop star who was headlining the show, boasted, "I have too many kokolets around the world." Later on he wondered, "Can I get two kokolets that can dance better than my dancers?"
If it seemed like D'Banj, one of the quickest-rising stars in Africa, has a one-track mind - kokolets, in his lingo, are beautiful women - that wasn't far from the truth. As a style, his was as monomaniacal in focus as Miami bass, one lusty come-on after the next.
He is at the forefront of an emergent style loosely called Afrobeats by some, a mélange of hip-hop, R&B and other traditionally urban sounds with elements that hark back to older African styles.
In practice on Sunday all that meant was that D'Banj, backed by a live band, was a thoroughly accessible pop star. He emerged in a gold-sequined dinner jacket and began the night with a harmonica solo of "My Love Is Your Love," the austere Whitney Houston hit. Before long he was undulating around the stage, his microphone at his crotch when it wasn't at his mouth.
Switching back and forth between singing and rapping, primarily in English, D'Banj was never less than enthusiastic, an entertainer above all, and one used to much larger stages than this one.
Accordingly, the show had the feeling of a significant event. The crowd was slickly dressed, skewing young and African. Outside before the show a correspondent for the Lagos radio station Cool 96.9 FM was recording a report on the scene.
Along with the producer Don Jazzy, D'Banj recently signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label, a rare example of a mainstream contemporary African star being given an opportunity to work with an American record label. Mr. West recently performed with D'Banj
